“Application for this knowledge in education and psychotherapy are obvious. Reinforce the right hemisphere as well as the left in order to reinstate homeostasis. Trends among researchers and educators appear to be in this direction.
(Luthe, 1976) .”

EON ARTS:  This is the study in which the Flow Machine (aka “Kinescope”) was the primary focus of the studies experimental group.    Via right brain hemisphere stimulation, stress was found to be significantly reduced in the “Flow Machine” group.

Unilateral Repetitive Activation a New Approach to Stress Reduction

Can Creativity and Empathy be Enhanced Through Right Hemisphere Activation?

The results of the study, with, p<.001, strongly suggest that activating the right brain hemisphere with a repetitive visual stimulus along with light classical music can significantly impact the recovery from stress. The study involved 47 volunteer subjects, split between the experimental group watching a visual device, called the “Kinescope” in the study, (aka the “Flow Machine”) and a control group.
